Traffic Analysis

An optional segment of the Elevator Monitoring System is the traffic analysis system. Since the task of monitoring elevator service becomes a study of time and motion, a traffic analysis system can become an integral tool in determining the most efficient elevator operation for a specific building and/or application.

To better assist building personnel, the traffic analysis system can accumulate data from each elevator or group of elevators so that an evaluation of hall call response times, door times (closing, opening, dwell, etc.), floor-to-floor times, traffic patterns, etc. can be performed and the overall elevator system operation modified for optimal service.
