Fujitec America, Inc. Unveils New Marketing Campaign at BOMA Show in Baltimore - 6/22/2001

Lebanon, Ohio - Fujitec America, Inc. recently unvieled a new brand identity to promote the company's elevator maintenance service program. The Service Stars of FujitecSM was created to market and promote the maintenance service side of Fujitec's business. Previously, Fujitec's marketing focus has been on new sales and installation of elevators for office buildings and escalators for municipal transit systems.

"Our presence in the elevator and commercial real estate industries is founded on and excellent and well-established reputation for quality," commented Dennis De Vos, President of Fujitec America, Inc. "Most people who are aware of us know that we build some of the smoothest riding and trouble-free elevators and escalators found anywhere. What's not so well known is that we apply those same standards for excellence in the service maintenance contracts that we sell."

The Service Stars of FujitecSM campaign was unveiled at the recent annual trade show and exhibition of the Building Owners and Managers Assocations (BOMA), held from June 17 to June 19, 2001, in Baltimore, Maryland. Fujitec's presentation featured an custom 20'x20 trade show booth that included various images of Fujitec Service Teacnicians working on elevator and escalator components. Also distributed at the BOMA show were flyers, brochures, and an interactive CD-ROM presentation, all of which promoted The Service Stars of FujitecSM logo, actual customer testimonials, and the message of maintenance service excellence.

Fujitec even went so far as hosting a special dinner for customers and prospects at the Maryland Science Center, complete with private "star shows" in the Center's planetarium and a computer-controlled 4.5 inch reflecting telescope door prize.

Fujitec's growth in elevator service maintenance contracts has steadily increased over the last several years. The growth rate for this segment of Fujitec America's sales was 5.3% in 1999 and 10.3% in 2000. The Company is anticipating a growth rate of 12% in service maintenance contracts sold during 2001.
