Children's Hospital of Philadelphia - 3/31/2005
Fujitec Philadelphia was recently awarded the maintenance account for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). This account, which consists primarily of KONE Miprom equipment, is a great victory for the Philadelphia office.
CHOP was established 150 years ago and has been voted the nation’s best pediatric hospital for three years running by Child magazine. In addition to the overall ranking, Child magazine also ranked Children`s Hospital`s cardiac center, neonatology, oncology, and orthopedics departments number one in the nation and emergency medicine ranked fourth.
“This was a big victory for our office,” said Bob Koleszarik, PH branch manager. “The combined presentations of our local office and TSG were effective in ensuring CHOP that we were able to handle their elevator control systems and provide better service than they had been getting in recent years. The presentations were so effective that we were actually given the project at a premium over the original equipment manufacturer. It was a great team sale.”
