FUJITEC EXPANDS PRESENCE IN NEW YORK MARKET - 4/21/2008

CLIFTON, NEW JERSEY– April 15, 2008 – Fujitec America, a division of Fujitec Co., Ltd. [NIKKEI 6406] today announced the relocation of its New York sales and service center to its new facility in Clifton, New Jersey (215 Entin Road). According to Fujitec America CEO Vic Harada, “The facility provides the resources needed to continue to support our growing customer base in the region.”

The 97,000 square foot facility includes 20,000 square feet of office/show room and 77,000 square feet of manufacturing/parts distribution center. It houses 70 full-time employees and serves as a base for more than 55 elevator service technicians and 140 new construction elevator installers primarily serving customers in Manhattan and surrounding cities.

Don Regina, Executive Vice President, Fujitec America and Chief Operating Officer of New York operations says the space is ideal for his employee team. “We thought through our current needs and the needs of our customers and redeveloped the space to best accommodate our design, engineering, construction and service/maintenance functions. We’ve been fortunate to gain the trust of a large majority of customers in Manhattan and surrounding areas – including such premier projects as the New York Times building, Merrill Lynch headquarters, Meadowlands Xanadu and countless premium office and luxury residential buildings.” Regina adds, “Just 11 miles from Manhattan, our new location is convenient and practical to providing the best service to our customer base.”
